Default New 225 Honda's , low RPM?

I changed out twin 150's for the 225's, when we were testing this weekend , without running the new motors to hard I was only seeing 4600 RPM.
The motors are definetley mounted to low and I will be raising them 2 holes ( which is all the adjustment I have)
Im running 14 3/4 x 21 at this point, how much increase will I see raising the motors or is it all going to be in the prop selection.
You can see the boat in my sig, 9000 lbs loaded.

Willing to bet you need change of props along with raising engine. Also depends on if you are going from aluminum to SS. You should get near 6200 RPM at WOT.

My 200 only swung a 17" pitch that 21" sounds too steep...

I should state that the test was done in fresh water as it was closer this weekend, My 150's were swinging 19's in the salt, with 17's in the fresh, at 5800, so I could be overpropped for sure, I was hoping for the larger props for cruising at lower rpm.
Thanks.

Nice ride. I would also consider going 17" 4-blade. You may loose a couple of MPH, but boy let me tell you, that bow will stick down and the hole shot is outstanding. Best move I ever did. Rapture is my prop.

You will get some out the raising but not enough, you will need 17's I'm quite sure to get 1000+
