Default Help - Yamaha Fuel Part

After removing/cleanup vst on yammi f225, the “joint” (metal piece) is leaking on top of the motor. I tried looking at a schematic and I cannot tell if I have the correct part number. Can anyone confirm? Or, can I go to the hardware store and get something that would work?

Part number I think is 69J-24381-00-00 or 68F-24300-00-00

Yes, 69J-24381-00-00 is the brass 'male' part
that should not need to be replaced
68F-24300-00-00 is the female,
which has a captive seal that I suppose could be leaking

you'll need to cut off & then re-install that Oetiker clamp to change it
Yamaha sells the clamp as
68V-24387-00-00
but it requires a special tool to install properly

To be honest the design of this fuel system is dumb with all of these check valves at various points in the fuel system.

Jerry Seinfeld is coming fishing with me next week..

Toss the JB weld as far away as you can, fix it properly, gluing fuel system parts is just plain silly.
