Default Lumitec underwater lighting removal

Hey just wondering if anyone had to remove their Lumitec underwater lights ( mine died) and had a good bit of glass come off with it due to 5200 being applied ?

took the gel coat and glass with it, so now

I need to glass over these spots ( more labor, and I got them to replace the lights under warranty) and I’m behind the 8 ball again .

let me know your experience with replacing these lights as this will be the last time I’m doing it

No advise other than to use 4200 or Life Seal next time.

5200 did you in. Never should have been used in that application. Good luck.

4200 for sure. Ive had issues as well. I do love when they work. The newer x2 are very bright. Good customer service but who wants to pay for a haul anytime you have an issue with them.
