Default Bottom Paint - Repaint or Blast & Repaint

Bottom was painted last year and once pressure washed this year, this is what the bottom looks like? Should I have it blasted or can I just reapply paint this year.

that was bottom painted last year for the first time, meaning over gelcoat?
or do you mean the first time YOU had it bottom painted?

honestly it looks real rough in those pictures and its not clean from the pressure washer either

Was previously painted about 3 years ago (not sure how many times before that, used 1 season, then sat for 2 years or so. It was then repainted prior to me purchasing last March. Boat was pulled in December last year and had slime and some barnacles on it so my neighbor hit it with pressure washer real quick just to get the crap off it. So essentially it needs a thorough cleaning of the bottom at this point.

to be really nice and effective you should start over again having it cleaned to gelcoat, primer and anti-foul

otherwise just slap another coat of paint on it and deal with it later, nothing in between is worth the effort or paying someone to do for you
