Default Just Took Delivery 2021 Sea Pro 228

It took forever to finally receive, but it was worth it. Would appreciate any thoughts and words of advice.

The one thing we need that we have not gotten yet is the Marine VHF radio. We know how we will install (We can add a resister and make it part of the entire onboard network). Run the antenna line down through the leaning tower tube into the main compartment. Just am not sure what radio we should get.

I just purchased my first Sea Pro. Below is the cost (Total out the door). I would like thoughts on the price as it relates to the entire package.

2021 - 228.

1. (NO TRAILER)

2. 200HP Suzuki
3. Hard Top
4. Jack Plate
5. Trim Tabs
6. 10 Ft Power Pole
7. Minn Kota 36V Terrova Ipilot trolling motor
8. Full Bow Cushion (wife wanted it, I am sure we will not use it) Cost me 500.00
9. Spray/Wind shield for center console
10. Full Boat Cover
11. Extra Bench Seat Stern
12. Bow seating
13. Tried out additional live well in the bow
14. Two additional SS pole holders
15. Paint (Navy blue HardTop and Hull)

$54,600.00

We have been out on it fishing - One time. Had a great time. Still a ton to learn.

Honestly, I always feel it's a bit odd when people ask thoughts on their deal after purchase; nothing can be changed at that point. That being said, I think it's a good deal. The Power Pole and the trolling motor are cheaper to buy and install yourself but that's about it. Sea Pro comes with a 5 year bow to stern warranty and 6 year Suzuki warranty on the engine. That's the big selling point of the Sea Pro's to me, so I often recommend them to a new boater looking to fish. Congrats enjoy it. And post some pics!

It is indeed the ocean island bridge. Are you close by? I wanted to go for the Zuke 250 but ran out of $$

Nice! I bought mine from Jimmy’s marine. We are a couple of hours away but have a place nearby and get down quite often.

Cannot go wrong with an ICOM vhf. There are others that are good as well but in my experience they are just bulletproof.

You would like thoughts on the price AFTER you took delivery?

So basically you came here to brag?

Just be honest, man.

It looks like a great boat. I'm sure you will get many years of enjoyment out of it!

Never mind the haters on this site. Lots of salty dogs here...

Nice boat, congrats. As far as advice, when you store it w cover I would open the various hatches to limit mold- especially in bilge area.

Somebody beat me to it! I was going to say that looked like the ramp under the OIB bridge! My son, daughter in law and four month old grand baby live there. Great little community and some wonderful fishing!

Congratulations on your new boat! Great choice IMO. Sea Pro has truly become a upper mid tear boat and the customer service is second to no one! Enjoy!

Price seems reasonable. 10 year hull warranty and 5 year bow to stern is a steal.

Mystery - This was my first new boat purchase. No experience. There was no intent of bragging. The feedback was for learning purposes for the future. Sorry if that was your perception.
