What annoys you about boat for sale ads?
one thing that bugs me is when there are 8 pictures, none are in focus, and 6 of them are 'showing off' the multi colored LED lights. Like I give a damn about the tacky LED lights you just slapped on this $200k (or whatever) boat.

Not putting the price in and lack of pics. I hate where there are like 9 pics and 6 of them are from the outside of the boat 50' away. Anything I list I make sure to put a ton of pics up, close up, far away, every little detail. A boat at minimum should have 25 pics and even that is on the low side. 30-40 is about right any more is even better and should show enough detail for you to make a decision if you want to call on it or not

I’m on a lot of Facebook boat for sale groups and the thing that drives me crazy is one pic of a $200K boat with no details or price and just a contact me for more info. The complete lack of effort on something that expensive drives me crazy.

Here is one for a truck I just saw on Facebook that follows the theme of the boat listings.

No phone number is my number one. If you have it for sale, list your damn contact info
On the other side, I hate the people who ask stupid questions when you know they aren’t a buyer.
Also think it’s completely stupid that we can’t comment on for sale adds on here. It’s ridiculous. You can’t even say something if you know the boat or if you have possibly purchased from the seller before. THT needs to revise this.

Here are a few
I always get a kick out of the sale price is FIRM then a week later a $10000 price drop.
the “weekly bump” ads
the drop the price by 1 percent sellers
the “I hate to do it” seller
upside down and sideways photos are great

*Engine flushed after each use (BS! I rented a house on a canal for a month last year in Cape Coral. Never seen anyone flush their OB)
* Long diatribe about the sound system (that would be the first thing I'd rip out)
*Maintained with an open checkbook (famous line for brokers. How do they REALLY know?)
