Default Which Hub Kit - Turbo OS1 on Yamaha 300 XCA

I spun my hub last week, need to replace it. Do I buy the TURBO PROP HUB KIT 115HP+ YAMAHA MAR-D505H-UB-00 or is a Flo-Torq II hub kit compatible?

Thanks

You can use either the Guardian SQ-Lok 505 or the Quicksilver Flo-Torq II, Mercury part # 835274Q 1

Turbo propellers generally use Turbo hub kits. As to what a "similar" universal hub system may be, I can't hazard a guess.

All square bore propellers use the same hub insert geometry. Mercury pioneered this with their first Flo-Torq II modular hubs in the late 1990s. Precision Propellers Inc. (now known as Yamaha Precision Propellers), makers of Stiletto, Turbo, and several OEM propellers, adapted the standard in the 2000s with their Guardian SQ-Lok hubs.

Michigan, BRP, and Solas all offer square bore hub kits that can be used.

Turning Point MasterGuard hub kits are the same as Yamaha Turbo SQ-Lok hubs, they come from the same factory, and use similar part numbers, thus a Turning Point 505 hub kit is identical to a Turbo MAR-D505H-UB-00 hub kit, and can be used as well.
