Default Help me choose EW EG GW

I have 3 boats that I am considering. I will be using for mostly fishing 30-40 miles out, in the inlet, sandbar with wife, and cruising with the wife. My 3 are Edgewater 262CC, Grady White 257 or 271 and Everglades 255CC. The Edgewater , Everglades and GW 271 will be used. The GW 257 would be new. I had Cobia in the mix but I don’t think they are in the same class. Looking at quality, resale value, fit and finish. I want honest opinions especially by people that have experience with the above brands. Thanks in advance.

Purchased the boat in my signature new in March 2002, with a single 250hp OX66. Put 465 hrs on it and repowered to twin F150s in Oct 2005. Had almost 1600hrs on the F150s when we sold the boat in Jan 2019.

So, over 2000hrs under power, tens of thousands of miles under her keel, fishing and cruising the Chesapeake Bay, dozens of trips 75nm offshore Virginia Beach, and a nice cruise down the ICW and across FL on the OWW. Never a structural issue, never felt unsafe despite lots of very snotty weather, and all types of fish over the gunwales.

Solid boats, well built, great layouts.

All are great choices. I would also add the Pursuit 260 to the list. I really wanted to like the EW262 (love the hull), but couldn’t deal with the built in backrest/table things for the bow seating and would rather a livewell instead of a sink/grill behind the leaning post. It’s definitely more a family CC than a fishing one.
