Default What sealant to use on mascerator hose?

I'm changing out the mascerator pump for my head and I see it has a white semi hard sealant on the hose fittings. What sealant should I use for that? Would normal pipe thread sealant work or gasoila sealant? Thanks for your help

Not sure I would use any, assuming hose and barbs are properly fitted, double clamp and be on your way.

i agree with no sealant. Those fittings are hard enough to get apart. Previous guy probably use 4200 or something, but that shouldnt be needed
