Default 2021 Pathfinder 2600 TRS

A little feedback on my new Pathfinder.

This boat has performed way better than I expected. The stepped hull and power to weight provides such a stable solid ride. Dry dry dry! 20 miles out from Port A 2s and 3s this boat handles flawlessly. Only 16 hrs on it but so far an awesome ride. So impressed with the fit and finish. Everything is solid. No rattles etc.

8 adults on it for evening dolphin cruise with bow seating and table - everyone comfortable Next morning at daylight table and cushions stowed and off to fish. Trade offs for every boat but this is as close to perfect for a do all boat as I could have hoped for.

Also some criticism. This is being awful picky but here it is. Cup holder is mounted directly in line of sight. Center consol side door is the one door and hinge on the entire boat that seems less than durable. Maybe not but seems it will be an issue over the long haul. Aft starboard livewell would be great for an ice chest if it had a shutoff valve on the fill tube. Minor and just a plumbing job but would be a good standard accessory. Cushion on seat in front of consol does not allow you to open ice chest with out un-snapping. Again being real picky.

All in all what a great boat! Quality throughout
and Performance is impressive.

You should have ball valves on all the livewell intakes. I suggest you keep them closed when not in use.

Yes. That is correct. The starboard livewell pickup is also plumbed for the raw water wash down. So when you close that ball valve you cant use wash down. Not a big deal at all. I found a shutoff valve for the inlet into the livewell. Problem solved and I have a nice fish box that is insulated and holds ice well. Anyone thinking of a TRS model rest assured they are set up for serious fishing.

I have a 2020 model. I have enjoyed it much also. One thing that would be great would be to insulate the center well under the middle rear seat, and make it drain overboard. Also, I'm a little concerned the insulation on all the wells really wont last that long. Strange bubble wrap type insulation taped in place.

Default Nice!

I have a TRS in order. Great info. Cup holder was bugging me. So, was thinking about telling them not to install it. But that makes it a fishing boat without ANY cup holders I think, which Im pretty sure is illegal in FL (not sure about TX).
Is there room on side of console to mount one? Is the fish box up front macerated?

The cup holder is really no big deal. I got used to it and now like it. I would definitely keep it if I were you; it is nice for cell phone, etc.

Not sure about your question on front box?

I ordered my boat and Pathfinder was excellent to work with. They do a really good job with options and configurations. Good luck with your order! You will love the boat. They are awesome!

It really isnt that great of a cup holder, and the console is so huge, it is right in your face. Overall cup holders are lacking on these boats. I added two near the bow seats. If you are in the middle rear seat you get nothing.

That works. Is it covered up when the bow cushion is on? Drains to the bilge?

Interesting, I thought they used the same console on the 25 & 26. I have two cup holders on either side of the console built in. Yeah those would drive me crazy.

I believe the 25 and 26 HPS have the same console. But, the 2600 TRS has the larger console.

Look below it and you will see a small drain (and the cup holders) I got from https://www.boatoutfitters.com/throu...D_BwE#216=1830

I could not find a way to clamp that hose on the back of the thru hull, so I gooped up some 5200 and it held and sealed that way. Not pretty, but all I could come up with.

We also find that we rarely use the center cushion on the bow. I dont want to be walking across it fishing, or anchoring, or whatever, so we only place the side seating cushions. They do not cover the cup holders.
