Default 1980 17’ Mckee Craft transom separating from hull question.

New user. 1st post.

i bought a 1980 17’ McKee Craft with a 2005 Yamaha 150. The guy said the transom had a repaired crack. The crack is coming apart again. It is actually the edge where the bottom of the transom meets the bottom of the hull below the engine about 18 inches long. It is not directly under the drain hole, but starts about 6 inches to the left. More of a delamination of the bottom hull pulling away from the transom where they meet. There is about a quarter inch gap in the middle of the crack where the hull is separating from the transom along the edge. I have fixed fiberglass holes before, but not separation in this area. Any ideas on the best way to fix would be appreciated.

Definitely need pics, but you'll need at least 10 posts to do so.

Go to other threads and like or whatever until you get 10 posts, then show us pics of the troubled area (inside and outside if possible).
