Default Is USP not tuning anymore?

Iím interested in getting the 350 verados on my OB 27 flashed by usp. Sent them an email and called, no response. I thought that I did see a post on here about them getting a letter from Mercury, but canít find it. Are they only selling cowlings and intake tubes now??

Between Merc and the EPA Verado Tuning that is advertised to the public is most likely dead!

I donít understand the no response thing. Clearly they were tuning before why the silent treatment? Did you try the other tuners? Whipple and Simon?

From what I heard, the EPA was after mercury for users tuning the emissions off to increase horsepower, so Mercury decided to go after these companys tuning their products like USP. Very similar to whats happening in the diesel truck world with aftermarket parts/tunes. I believe dealers can tap into the ECU and see when and how long a different tune has been used. As soon as they see altercations to the ECU, bye bye warranty.

maybe they closed up shop and never closed emailing down/website down? or maybe just ignoring any contact asking about tuning, instead of just saying " sorry cant do it anymore"

They still post on IG so I donít think theyíre shut down, but hard to say.

I canít speak for their customer service, since Ive never dealt with them. I will say after this ďpandemicĒ, one would think businesses would be begging for business, however it seems even more difficult to get as much as a response, let alone customer service.

Any business that deals with outside activities is booming because of the pandemic.....

Sure there are plenty of people associated with restaurants, bars, gyms, etc really hurting. But people are finding other ways to spend their money on stuff they can do

Last year before they shut down I tried messaging them through different means (email/facebook) multiple times and never received a response. My experience with their customer service sucked. Ended up going with a different place but they are all shut down now.

Asked a simple question on FB, IG, and via email on what if any upgrades were avail for V8 300 mercs or if any were in the works several weeks ago and no response. So I would stay away. If that's how CS works forget about it.

This is their response:

We are not offering ECU tuning options for the Verado engine. We have decided to move the company in a different direction. , We will continue to produce/engineer hardware for marine engines. We apologize for the inconvenience. Our current hardware offerings for the Verado engines can be seen here: https://bit.ly/39GtF9v

All tuners got the hammer dropped on them. If you know what you are doing, the tools are readily available.
