Default Single power deep vee recommendation

What are some good options for a single outboard power boat, Center console,moderate to deep vee, NO forward seating? Utilitarian finish is fine. Need a hardcore fishing boat with NO show pony options. Repower is an option if it’s an older boat. The simpler the better. Thanks in advance.

I agree that forward seating ruins a good fishing boat. Gets in the way of fishing. Deep Vs that I can think of are:}

Competition
LTB

If you want bullet proof I’d start with the motor. Find one you like then go from there. Suzuki 250-300 or Honda 300. There’s weight but great for what you’re looking for

Utilitarian?

25 C Hawk.

Brand new they run $60k.

About as basic as they come. As my captain friend who recommends them says “nothing to break.”

I’ve got a Bluewater 2550 with a Suzuki 300. Perfect for my needs which align with what you described.

LOL captain information. Honda doesn't even make a 300. [
