Default New Boat - help with cleaning supplies

Just got a new boat. Off to the store to get a 5 gallons bucket and a brush. What do you recommend for soap? Any must haves that I should pick up for cleaning?

thanks

Orpine.
the goal is to not wash the sealant/wax off of the hull. You need a ph balanced soap. My detailer highly recommended it. DO NOT USE DAWN unless you want to strip it.

My pleasure. I also bought a “torq foam blaster 6“ soap cannon From Chemical Guys and love it. Makes car/boat washing so easy.

I'm in the same boat as you (pun intended). Except that my boat is still on order - delivery a couple of months away. I watched quite a few YouTube videos in preparation for doing my own cleaning, and there are a LOT of options that would probably work for both cleaning and protecting. Having said that, I found the videos from Shurhold to be pretty informative. And as it turns out, they have a forum here! And they are pretty quick to respond to product questions. Good luck!
