Beam for trailering
 

Would you limit a boat purchase to a certain beam?
in Fl. 8'6" no permit
10 ft cheap $20 or $30 annual fee
11 ft $ 300 annual and time of day restrictions.
Found a very nice 11 ft beam used boat w trailer but i do trailer alot and im hesitant. Your thoughts?

11 foot beam and trailering frequently do not go together. Twice a year would be fine if the boat were slipped. What are the permit restrictions over 10 feet - only daylight hours and weekdays?

For trailering frequently, yes.
beamy boats get very heavy too.

The easier it is to use something, the more you will use it. Thats my experience.

Trailered 31 prowler (just shy of 11’). No biggie. Except south Florida i95. That sucked
