LaPorte's T-Top Covers in Charleston just finished their prototype for the 24 and sent it to Bryan. I'm waiting to hear how the fit up went.
Assuming that all is well, I plan to order a top from them. I've had one for four years, and it's been fantastic.

I contacted BoatCoversDirect and asked for pictures of the fit and they didn't have any. Apparently there is no returns on custom covers either, unless there is a defect. I'm a little weary ordering without seeing the fit, so I'm waiting it out. Not sure a crappy fit will be considered a defect.

Bryan is offering the cover made by the Charleston shop as an option on the build sheet. Seems like a decent price, but I haven't seen pictures of the fit either.

Interesting, I also noticed he has a notched anchor locker lid now too. I'm curious what he'd charge for that. The lid with no holes for anchor line was one of my few complaints about the boat.

Hey Salt, thank you for the follow up.

Jealous about the trolling motor. Get a couple of the cup holder/rod holder combos, I wish I did.

These boats look great with the boot strip, I agree that would be a nice option. I might add one in the Shark White color (grey)

He put a boot stripe on mine.

I ordered one of the Laporte covers thru Bryan and it fits perfectly over the boat and the motor. The connections to the Ttop require some adjustment but nothing too difficult. Maybe 5 mins for one person to attach, tops. Plenty of room to walk around in the covered boat, too. I have the 24 DV with a single 350. Like others here, super happy with the boat and with Bryan's attention before and after the sale.

Good deal. I asked about a painted boot stripe, and a painted deck. Not an option. I guess nobody loves me anymore. Ed

Yeah for sure! Although this damn "job" thing is really getting in the way of fishing. I have about 75 hours on her and those will increase pretty good this fall when I'm out front hunting for striper and hitting wrecks for sea bass.

Default Pair 21

Hey Guys,
I recently took ownership of 21. I am new to Hull Truth, but a long time reader. Wanted to share my build. Bryan was great to work with. He always got back to me quickly. I received the boat in August and just did the 20hr. service. The entire process while it felt like a long time, was exactly 60 days which is what he told me from the start. I am located in Jacksonville, FL. Happy to post photos if anyone wants to see it. In addition to the standard features I loaded it up with options. Based on everything I read, this is one of the more loaded 21's out there. I love the boat. I have young kids and liked the idea of everyone being in the boat. I have owned quite a few boats and this one checks a lot of boxes. It is super solid and feels just a big as my previous 24' bay boat.

200hp/fly by wire
Forward seating
Mack daddy leaning post with armrests - love it, I wasn't sure about this and I'm glad I did it.
Hard top, light bar, powder coated
Standard electronics package
Under gunnel lights
Swim ladder
8 additional cup/rod holders - screw less gemlux version
Jack plate
Fresh water tank
JL Stereo upgrade - amp and sub
Power pole
Grab bar on rear transom
His pliers/Cup holder rack behind leaning post
T-Top full boat cover - went directly to them and it fits nicely

Cheers,
Chris

Congratulations!

Bryan told me 85 days when I ordered mine at the beginning of August, so hopefully hell be able to keep to that schedule as closely as he kept to yours. Im looking forward to it!

I asked to have a hand hold installed at the swim ladder too, so if you can post a pic of that, Id appreciate it.
