Default PRO-LINE charges you for asking a question !!!!

I was looking to buy a pro-line boat, and I wanted to ask them a few questions about the weight and some other specs and they want to charge me $5 for asking some questions.

Yep, proline is out of the list now

WTF!

I had to go to their website to make sure this wasn’t a joke. $5 to ask questions, only answered on Monday. That’s a sinking ship. I’ll tell you that would be a total deal breaker for me. Would never consider a brand that charged me to ask a question. Betting they are out of business soon.

Thats terrible. I have a old proline and i love the boat but this would discourage me from buying one if i were looking now, especially a new or a recent model!!!

Looks like they are following the business model of the air lines.

You want to be seated for the flight? Give us some money.

You want water? Give us some money.

You want a window seat? Give us some money.

Might be better for Proline to simply not answer any questions. Make reference to a Proline dealer.

Wow. I've owned three pro-lines and have always been happy with them. Charging $5 to answer an email is a disgrace.

Sea Hunt has effectively taken over their market across the last 10 years. Maybe it was deserved.

I just went to the site to make sure this was real. Incredible that someone thought this was a good idea and even more incredible that it was approved by that persons boss. It's not about the 5 bucks, it's about the message this send to a potential buyer. You can't even write them to tell them how stupid this is unless you want to pay $5 lol

Why did they move this to the "Sportfishing and Charters" section? Internet Brands an investor in Pro-line?

if Pro-Line has an issue with this, they are without a doubt in the wrong business.

I'm sure some ivy league biz gradschool moron was taught such an idea by a bespectacled, corduroy wearing, graying hippie that "REVENUE REVENUE REVENUE" is the key to successful business!!! (Said hippie has NEVER had a job outside of the school btw)

UNBELIEVABLE!!!
