Default Boston Whaler 240 Outrage

*I posted this thread a few days ago but wanted to recreate it after I gathered more information*
"I run a 240 outrage with a 2014 300hp Mercury Verado. I am concerned I am losing performance either by a damaged prop or incorrect pitch on my prop. Currently at WOT max speed is around 36mph, which is around 6200-6300 RPM. Slightly after plane, I burn 16 GPH and RPM is at 5100-5300. Does this seem normal?"

I have a 15 1/2" 17p mirage plus prop, the engine is mounted on the first position of the bracket and can be raised by 4 holes. Currently, to travel at a comfortable speed of 25-30mph, it is around 5300 rpm. Feels like the engine is working too hard to go slower than it should at that rpm. Does I need to raise the engine or increase pitch? Has anyone experienced this/add advice. Thanks!
