Default New 2020 Twin Vee 260GF is our new Rig pulled the trigger today

So we went over to Jupiter and did our sea trial today on the ICW and out of Jupiter Inlet and loved the boat and the ride thanks to the guys in Jupiter we can't wait to pick up the boat. Loved the ride and performance we feel it will do everything we want it to do on the Gulf for our fishing needs and can't wait to hopefully pick it up fully rigged out this Friday if ready. And man was the water crystal clear today over there you could see all the way to the bottom beautiful.

Glad to see that worked out for you. It’s nice to have a brand new boat. I think it will serve you well. My old 290 World Cat seemed a little expensive for what it was but that guy put a ton of money into it for no reason. Enjoy!

Lemon congrats on the new boat! Looks like Twin Vee has upped its game. I did a double take when I saw the pics of you're boat - and had to check out their website. Hull shapes are a definite improvement over their prior designs, Gem Lux SS hardware is a huge improvement over the old die cast zinc. Love the fact that you can price the boat out very easily online. The 26 is a great size. You're definitely 'pimping' with joystick control.

Would definitely like you to share your experience(s) with the boat after you've had it for awhile. Wish you the best and enjoy the new ride - mv

I will keep the site updated with how she works out and the ride. MarkV yes I visited the factory with some local guys that have been around through all the years of TV and they have made a lot of changes for the better. No question it is still a no frills entry cat but at a great price versus other high dollar options on the market.

Well this waiting is driving me crazy so been organizing things and buying new items for the boat as we all know TV's are not know for storage so I picked up a holder for my suremarker buoy, some tool holders, ditch bag for my plb and safety stuff, new lines, new bumpers, all kinds stuff. and a T-bag. Trying to think about anyway I can to increase storage space and minimize items on the deck.

Also received a cpl pics everything is installed just waiting on the Trolling motor that is the only hold up. two 10 inch Garmins installed and transducer, motors all NEMA hooked up to garmins, Radar in, Garmin VHF in and Fusion stereo and speakers and AMP!

Deposit dropped off to the Boat Wrap guys to get the art work going and reserve our place in line for mid august.

cleaning up equipment getting it organized and unpacked more to go so ready when boat gets here then do a final layout in this new room once I get everything in need to get some more rod holders and shelves cabinets. Its amazing how much you accumulate still a lot more in the garage but since we are staying at the house putting in a lift we are taking over the spare room for wife and I fishing equipment.

On my new build I elected to have the dealer use a mock up trolling motor to mount my quick detach plate. They will receive the motor, install the backing plate and correct connector and ship it to me. I am picking up next Thursday but likely won’t see my TM until early to middle august. May be an option for you to take delivery early.

nice boat and congrats.

Congratulations Lemon. One thought, that flopping mic cord would drive me crazy. Is there any way that you can have them put an acrylic lip along the front of the switches so that the chord can lay behind it. Here’s what I did on my boat. Good luck and enjoy.

Awesome boat choice.

What is the device above your vhf?

Where are you going to install the trolling motor? Will it interfere with any of the bow storage compartments?

Did jupiter install all the electronics for you?

Did you consider autopilot?

Hope it treats you well!!!

Thanks Sixstring

Device above vhf is the Fusion Stereo we got with a sub and 3 speakers and AMP

Trolling motor will be install just off center in the front to the left or right of where the Windlass would have been. Bow storage unobstructed

Jupiter is installing all electronics

I did consider autopilot but for the price opted to not install at this time i do like driving and i know after a long day out it would be a great addition or on the way out so i could so some rigging etc. But for the price i opted not to and will consider later if i feel its needed. Trying to get everything i wanted and keep cost somewhat manageable as i am putting in a new boat lift as well.

Hope it treats us well also and can't wait to get it.
