Shuttle Slide trolling motor mount

Understood. Well aware of the rules. Next item on the "To Do" list. This is my project boat that I have yet to put on the water. I am putting a different mount for that with the removable post. Raises it about 6 inches and will clear the TM and the ShuttleSlide when in place.
Good catch though and glad you are looking out for your fellow THT'ers.

Most all new boats come with hull
mounted lights today, putting trolling motors on boats that never had trolling motors before is a reason for that. All thanks to the spotlock
I've got one I had to go to side lights on when I put an anchor roller on. If I put a trolling motor on it I'd probably go to Hull mounted. Of course I've seen people do the same thing with anchor rollers just stick them off to the side of the bow light and block it.....unwittingly.

Alweld, intrigued with your using 2 Rhodan pucks for retraction of TM. Got any photos? What is total length of your underling base mount, such that u were able to attach 2 pucks 18" apart? Seems luke a cost effective solution to retracting TM. I assume u still have base mounting plate extending past rub rail?
