Bill was president of Luhrs. I think his third or fourth time with the company. Reason for previous dismissals is foggy but I can guess. He was a nice warm fuzzy type of guy. Just couldn't wait to be around him. Loved the idea of starting workers at $7 or $7.5 an hour

There is no more customer service. I think it is done by Hunter now.

They never did anything to the man who was writing his own claims. They must have been to embarrased. Did a drive by and noticed that one Mainship was online and the parking lot was about a quarter of what it was before. Mr Sunshine don't quit. I was there the whole time and the same goes for My Sanity. They ruined a good thing and I will help to the end of this mess.
Have a nice day!

In looking 4 fishing tips for our trip to keys today I see this here. a guy with that name works with me at Lockheed Martin in Orlando. He is in customer support and said he used to work for a boat company in Florida. Tells a story about some customers offering him money to testify for them and he refused. Told story about being physically threatened by someone at work too.

I too have a story. We own a Luhrs 2001 32 convertable which for the first 3 years was mostly dry docked due to hull and power issues. (delamination and blew 5 marine power 5.7) I have not read all 79 pages but will since I am very interested. I fought them on a almost daily basis and did it with out a lawyer. In the end we ended up repowered and the hull was redone. (never comensated for my mental heath, it was a true nightmere) A very expensive fix for Luhrs they should have just given us a new boat. Willing to share all information and my contacts with anyone who is interested. It would give me great satisfaction to be able to help others!

Mr.Sunshine,

I didn't read 90% of the 78 pages of this thread. However, I don't think that you are out your money. I would look to put a claim against Luhrs insurance company, so whether or not Luhrs goes down (pun intended), you still have the ability to recover money from the insurance company. That's the way corporate America works.

Good luck

If you think Lawyer jokes are funny, The next time you get in a jam. . . . . . call a comedian
Mr Looney, an attorney can steal and get away with it. Those that steal and can't get away with it are the clients so he steals from them too. An attorney steals from everybody then they run for office and steal with both hands. Just look at John Edwards. Lawyers are scum in suits.

That is just about the most uneducated biased statements that I have ever heard.

You paint with a very broad brush and obviously no knowledge.

My lawfirm has stepped in where a widow was getting cleaned out of her life savings by an employee. Tell me again how lawyers are scum. How dare the firm bill her $4,800. I mean all we did was save her over $70,000 + assets like a car that the employee was trying to illegaly get transferred to her name.

I think the definition of scum is the bottom feeders who don't want to go to school to earn an education and find it easier to just stereotype and make highly uneducated statements and assumptions.

Tell me which divorce attorney or Bankruptcy Trustee pissed in your cheerios this morning.

I still maintain, If you like Lawyer jokes, the next time you get in a jam. . . . . .Call a comedian.

It's all a big old mess, the buyers like sunshine and Luhrs 41 got screwed big time, a lot of great Mainship guys got screwed out of GA and moved a couple to FL and still screwed them. Now Luhrs is going under and under fast. I hope Luhrs goes under and never makes it back out. As for Bill F his candy a$$ got fired and about damn time. Now get rid of some of them other people who screwed all these people. Keep going after them and make them pay for what they have done!!!!!!

To all you ex good people may you all find good jobs and sit back and watch them go under and laugh

I think they probably did the smart thing and shut up, since this might involve civil liability.
