41 Luhrs, it's in volume XII. March 2007. It's about the chevy engines ingesting water but went on to say that there were many other problems with the boat which compounded the lost use time of the boat. Many, many problems.

That job description is missing quite a few items
1) Must be able to lie through your teeth.
2) Must have no regard for family's safety
3) Must be able to sleep at night --knowing you stole $ 700,00.00 from people
4) Must be able to deal with screaming customers, a phone that rings 24 hours a day, potential physical abuse from irate
owners.
5) Must be able to lie in court in potential law suits

If this is you call Mike Hankins or Bill Finney at Luhrs Corporation -- you might have a big future with this company --

I am amazed at how many 2007,2006,2005 41's are for sale. WOW, how many hulls do they build a year in the 35-45 foot range?

How much of an impact for consumers and for the industry do you all think this thread is going to have?

It seems as though if there are a lot of 41's for sale it is having a huge impact.

There is quite a spread in the asking prices, the high is is 749k and the low is 518k for the same year boats. Looks like some of the owners know what they have, maybe they read THT

Major Issues is the correct name. That boat has a very intersting history. As you can see the owner is taking a HUGE loss just to attempt to sell this POS. This owner has joined forces with our group of owners Rick M is talking about. This story is just starting to unfold. The name of the boat is just what this owner feels. If you are fishing the Key West sailfish tournament later this month -- check out the Luhrs 41. This owner will have a message painted on his boat. He is yet another in the group who will be posting on this site soon. All of you who jumped all over LUHRS 41 when this post started -- opinions are a little different now -- Where are the JYS guys who attempted to deflect this problem with issues of title on Luhrs 41 boat. They have run away with no post in weeks. The next Luhrs 41 to come out of the factory will be #70. Count the 41's for sale on yachtworld -- This figure does not count 8 of us that do not have the boats for sale who are extremly angry. 40 out of 69 -- that's all you need to know about this model. If you know any owners of this boat please have them get in touch with us

Good luck to you all. A group of 40 people who can afford 750k boats...not a group of people I would want pissed off at me.

Didn't Luhrs tell Luhrs41 that his boat would be fixed by April? Have they done any work on it yet? Maybe we should all take turns calling the factory to ask how the repairs are coming along. Better yet, how about a field trip down to their shop? A little THT inspection trip.

Big Blue

THT field trip -- Great Idea -- We will have some people at the West Palm Show with many pictures -- I will keep you posted

There are a couple good deals on yachtworl for a Luhrs 41

1) Loose Crew -- Price just reduced $ 40,000.00 Great Boat -- Boat owner Ernie -- partner in JYS Jacksonvill Luhrs dealer
2) Demo Tournament Boat -- Same as Rick M purchased. Sale Pending -- Hope this poor guy has a lawyer -- or reads THT. This is another boat that has been beat to hell in the last year. Owner is Bobby -- Partner in JYS

These guys know what a POS the boat is. Bobby uses one a year and pushes it off to some other sucker. Maybe you guys want to join the grop of P- Off owners. These boats are as worthless as ours.

Hey JYS did EVERY Luhrs 41 you received from the factory have a leaking deisel tank ??? Northside Marine in Stuart NEVER got one that did not leak -- Any comments ??? Good thing Northside is out of business and some of the departed staff dont work for another Luhrs dealer. They have some interesting things to say about these boats.
