I am glad to see the six year anniversary of this thread will be honored by it being on or nearly on page 1!

Someone bought some molds and has yet to do much of anything with them? I would not hold your breath. Not to mention the market for these types of boats is done!!!

I enjoyed reading this thread a while back. It is a kick. Talk about an angry boat buyer. Sad thing is that what might have been a legit beef, rolled into an all out war.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

I just started reading this thread. I'm around page 40 now.

The links to the pics that were given in pages 10-20 no longer work, this thread being old, yahoo photos is long gone. Do these pics stil exist somewhere, is there a new link to them?
Or do pages further up contain the pics again?

I owned a 2006 41 CVT we bought it new Directly from Luhrs. I had to put some money into it to make it correct for off-shore fishing, My wife loved it but never really understood the Difference between the Luhrs and My current boat ( out island 38 )The Luhrs fished good and we ran it to Stuart FL from Atlantic city for several seasons. Just from my own observation Luhrs Had a solid made boat from the water line down. Large shafts.5 blade wheels, solid glass keel, all of the thru hull fitting hoses were double and even triple clamped in stainless bands. But from the water line up was a lot of up keep and re-work. and one final issue the boats are slightly under powered even with the 635 QSMs my luhrs cruised 22-23.5 knots running the rps at 2050 but boat is Heavy in Weight. Theres Lots of them for sale not a bad boat.

You guys probably noticed the 07 43' Silverton sc that's been reduced so many times no one can figure out what the price.
Personally I think that mainship was worth the money even with them going out of business but on the other hand the Silverton ain't going no where fast. It's a real shame to Silverton go I have great memories and still keep a pic of my old wood top 34 in my office.

drunk posting? only Big Al can understand this stuff.

Pay no mind to the spammer. He is utilizing a new tactic to get people on forums to click his little link. They are now doing a little research so they can make a post that sounds relevant so they don't get dumped right away.
