Does that sum it up?
Or perhaps someone who loves it and finds no fault?

No not me, maybe I should have bought it though, I seem to buy all the boats that no one wants... Maybe thats why I'm so happy, no wait that's because I didn't buy a Contender, Bayliner, Pro Line, Pathfinder, or whats that other POS - oh yeah Grady White.

It must be just your bad luck you made for yourself. The 41 my son bought works wel,. is out as much or more than most and catches fish. What more could you ask for? He got it at a great price too. From this side of the story.. you must be a idiot to sell one. Not sure how you can upgrade from a boat like this?

( Some were doctorates in astrophysics who could not put a connector on a cable correctly) I instructed my staff as to when somone called in who had : attutude problems, personally attacked the service person, used profanity, etc. They were to tell the person that they are hanging up on him and call back when you calm down.

Now, that said, did you call the dealler and factory in on this?
Do you not trust the deslers ability to correct the problem, or do you think it needs to be returned to the factoiry?
Are you trying for "new boat?" (aint going to happen)

Call Luhrs, be civil and like Sgt Joe Friday in Dragnet "Just the facts". Mention that the dealer tried but cant handle what is wrong. Then ask them what can be done?

If they do not respond in a timely manor (a few weeks) get an attorney, and "retract your acceptance of delivery"
Also notify the bank if its financed. They can pressure a dealer like you cant imagine.

Maybe your son does not run it like all the other 41 owners. It was a flaw in the hull design. Why do you think they changed the hull design to the latest design because they just wanted to make a new mold?? Being an Idiot is to own a 41 Luhrs aka POS. Good luck to your son and his crew when the boat throws one of them over the side and runs one of them over !!!!! it may have not happened now but it will one day !!!! So good luck my friend. Sell it before its to late

I do know my son knows how to run a boat. If that means you are clueless running a boat, that could very well be why you have the luck you do

your boat is a POS because of you.

just sayin

What you are saying is not all 41 Luhrs are a POS like the obsolete model you have.

So what you really mean to be saying is, make sure you get the newly designed model. it is far superior than any boat in its class.

How about if you check the thread and find out who has been here for quite some time. I agree with you then that all the new boats are great.

The Luhrs41 definately out performs. They are known fish catchers and its looks and runs great. All at a reasonable price. What else could anyone ask for??

The op did. Ironic thing is that he sold it to someone else knowing it is a "piece of crap with a flawed hull design".

Says a lot for him, huh?

Default Wow.

Having watched this thread with awe for years, it strikes me that one of these is true;

a. Luhrs have really deep pockets to ride this out, or
b. People are amazing impulse buyers and don't want to look for conflicting evidence, or
c. Google search doesn't work as well as we think it does

Happy New Year!
