Default who has the right of way at ramp?

The guy with the disabled boat that is on the dock or the guy in line to launch? I did everything right standing in line waiting my turn and getting the boat in the water and ready to launch in 5 minutes. Parked. Returned. Turned key. Engine on. All systems go. Damn shift cable was frozen so boat couldn't move. Tied off to dock and let boats coming off the lake to go by. When they were loaded, I got my truck and reloaded the boat with everyone screaming at me to get to the end of the line. How does that work if they can't launch with my boat unable to move allowing them launch? Need advice guys. I've never been that guy and I was simply trying to get out of everyone's way. Did so at the expense of forgetting to raise the drive and ground the skeg and dinged the prop. Let me have it. Everything is a learning experience if you're willing.

Did you cut in front of anyone with your trailer while loading. If not then itís your turn. They may not of liked it but getting yours out of the way help speed things up.

Dont worry about it. Thatís normal at the ramps.
Never let anyone rush you at the ramps. Donít dilly around but get it loaded right.

Who has the right of way if youíre waiting in line to retrieve for 15 minutes and the guy with the boat behind youís driver starts backing their trailer down the ramp in front of you as youíre tying up?

Ramp is a single finger dock, two boats at a time. No courtesy dock.

I went to the front of the line and explained the situation to the next in turn. The guy let me go knowing my boat had to come out first. But there were others who weren't happy about it. Its kinda like being broken down on the freeway. You don't like it, but you can't help where you're at.

Most recreational boaters are assholes. It sounds like you did the right thing.

Yar.
That's what you should do is start your boat and motor it off the trailer and such first.
but a lot of people are trying to get their truck parked and out of the way and two other people can launch

A reasonable person would understand it's faster for everybody in line if you get that boat back out of the water.... But there's a lot of people who own boats who aren't reasonable people today. They're tools with too much money not enough common sense.

I got hollered at one day by a guy who accused me of taking up the whole ramp up it being a double wide ramp. technically, I suppose it is but it's a very narrow for a double wide ramp you'd only have 2 foot in between the trailers. I was the only person there, so I was not tight to one side. but as I was loading my boat he pulled up and then got upset because he couldn't immediately back his sea fox in. I told him to go f himself. I can't see my trailer when I'm backing down at all. When my camera wasn't working..... It takes me more time to try and get very close to one side.

Well obviously your gonna be the guy without a boat on your trailer, so you get front row priority to anyone with a boat still on their trailer

not much you could do but get out of the way as fast as you could so it could be a two ramp landing.. some don't understand

This is why rack and stack prices have skyrocketed.

IMHO you were wrong, if your boat is in no danger of sinking you get back in line and wait your next turn. Get your boat out of everyone's way and wait your turn.

Obviously you can't read.... His boat was disabled and wouldn't move.... blocking the ramp....and you think going to the back of the line is what he's supposed to do??? How is everyone else going to launch and hows the people in the front of the line going to launch so he can wait his turn?? How exactly is he supposed to get a disabled boat out of the way???
Its happened to everyone whos boated long enough.....I wouldn't worry about it, the common courtesy thing to do would have been someone help the man to move things a bit faster, but if no one wanted to they could suck my balls... I try to be as quick as I can but unfortunately, things do happen...and when it happens to you, maybe you might see it differently

Ramps can be very stressful. If there is no room for other boats and your boats disabled there is no other choice but to grab the trailer and get your boat out of the way. Hope you get the cables figured out and back in the water safe and in good health.
