Default What does everyone think about the 26' CC Pro Sport

I am looking for a used 24'-28' boat for Offshore fishing under 27K. I like the 1999-2002 Cobia's but they seem to get swept up as soon as they get listed. I ran across a 2004 26' Pro Sport CC and I could not find anything on here about the Pro Sports. Pro's and Cons, please.

Is it a catamaran? If so put in Prokat. There is a lot of info, some good some bad. I spoke with owner of a 26 Prokat cc and he loved the boat. Good luck in your search.

I was looking at pro sports in 2004 to get me into a saltwater boat at entry level price. Very cheaply made IMHO. I don't think I would have been happy with one over the long term.

Owned a 2001 22cc pro sport. Was a good boat for my first boat. New owner has had good luck with it too. See him out all the time. Pro sport was sold to sea quest in like 05 I think.

Pro Sport out of Alabama who also produced Prokat went bankrupt in the crash of 2008. The cats had quality components, no wood so no complaints from me.
