Bentley out of Portland Oregon makes chairs that are reasonable and work well.

From the looks of it MiamiJay is rolling around in an intrepid so I don't think the cost was a big issue. I would like to know how far up the back those backrests cover. I would like to replace the captain's chair on my 32-ft contender simply because the backrest comes under my shoulder blades and I would like more support, it's starting to take a toll on my lady friends, and I don't need them exhausted from that kind of activity. I spotted this one which gives superior back support, I've seen a lot of nice captains chairs or leaning post on competition boats. Anybody know if this is a manny captain's chair or outsourced?

I'm pretty sure that is Manny's...I bought one from him and have it installed on my LTB Competitor 25. He picks up his phone or calls you back quickly if he's busy....give him a shout.

Thanks tiger. Op, I hope you don't see this as a derail, I figured I was on the same subject. The back of that captains chair I posted on that competition is also loaded down with tackle storage and other various compartments.

Hey JM ... the Ocean Elite helm seats are custom built by Intrepid. Extremely well built and comfortable. The have side drawers, foot rest and power slide adjustment.
