Default ACR and charger wiring question

Any issues w using the ACR to send the charge leads to 2 different batteries?

Rather than run the charge leads directly to ea pos post, In my setup it would be cleaner to hook ea charge leads, one to ea side of the ACR to connect to the batteries.

The batts are 4D's and I put one ea port and stbd so the weight evens out... they sit about 12' apart.. Charger is in the middle of the boat over the keel and I can mount the ACR w the charger thereby making it convenient to run the charge leads to either side of the acr.

Any issues w this?

Battery charger connections should be run direct to the batteries. That being said, I've done what you have said because of logistics as long as the gauge of the wire is not an issue.

No issue at all. Electrically it is the same.

Sounds like you have the exact same batteries, so that's good. Make sure the cable lengths are the same as well so any resistance will be equal.
