I got a 1’ long x 1/2” scuff on the side of the hull. Who has had success polishing out Awlgrip. It’s not scratched and probably caused by a fender. I don’t want to make a mess out of the surrounding area. I know Awlgrip doesn’t like it surface messed with.

Not me. Last two boats were awl grip they were very tough to scratch, but once scratched/scuffed it's there to stay.

New boat is awlcraft you even look at a piling or dock funny and you've got scuffs for days.

Id live with it if I were you and be happy it's awlgrip.
