Default Luggage handle wraps vs jig and lure wraps

Has anyone tried neoprene luggage handle wraps with Velcro for securing jigs and lures on rods while running? They’re a lot less expensive than the “jig and lure wraps” but look almost the same.

Thanks.

I use those elastic hair bands. Bigger lure I might use two. Can get a 100 for a few bucks. They do not look as nice as the velcro and neoprene ones. It is also no big deal if I brake or lose them. Just get another.

Yes, luggage wraps work great on ones that aren't too large. Especially when you can find them for free at boat shows or trade shows.
