Default Jl Media master 100 help ????? Is it me ??

I am not getting any sound from front left speaker when I set filter to hp on amp . If filter is off I get sound but seems right side is louder . Any help would be great

Ok so I installed a jl MM100 , I have this plugged into a jl m600/6 amp . With three sets of coaxle cables for front and rear jlm3 650 and a bridged m3 10ib sub . Amp is set to 6 channels so I can control all three zones , zone 1 is issue

Out of phased on left speaker maybe. Easy to check at the amp just reverse the +&- on the left speaker only and see if it equals out with the right

Ok try swapping rca's from zone 2 to zone one assuming zone 3 is your sub. I had a friend Barrow all my stereo out of my truck and he had a weird small popping noise at high volume. Ended up being the 14 band electronic eq (that my 10 channel crossover filtered out) becouse it worked perfect when I put it back in.

Or try moving speaker wire from zone 1 to 2 if it follows it's a wiring issue if it moves to zone 2 it's the amp or rca.

Check for corrosion on the connectors at the speaker. I had a tweeter firing on an M770 but the woofer was not. I did the whole check polarity, move RCAs around only to find the spade connectors on the speaker needed to be cleaned. Ended up being the wires JL installs between the cross over and the woofer. These are connections we as users/installers don’t touch unless something is wrong.

Seems like it’s the brand new amp that has an issue with front left ground will have to call jl in the morning and get it shipped out
