Sea hunt 21 ultra / Robalo 202 exp / Wellcraft 21 fisherman

Hi Guys
Looking into these 3 boats, any feedback would be appreciated. I live in the Northeast looking to fish and a family friendly boat.
Thanks Luke

which do you like best?

in the north east wouldn't you want a little protection from the weather or will you only use it in the summer?

I plan to use the boat May till October. I personally like the look of Robalo and Sea Hunt, I have also heard good things about Wellcraft.

I have a Wellcraft 202, and the boat is "okay". Ive been in 4 foot seas (maybe more) and the boat could handle it, it just wasn't very comfortable. Also, it tends to slam a lot and its a wet boat. Its a good boat for the price, but you may want to spend an extra $10k for a Seahunt.

Sea Hunt Ultra 211 owner here. I've had mine since January and it has been great. The forward seating and back rests are comfortable, and the fixed rear seating is rock-solid and comfortable on the ride out.

However, the rear seating is a little bit of a hinderance when you're more focused on fishing. 21 foot boats aren't spacious to begin with, but the rear seating takes away another foot between the captain's seat and the transom. To pass from one side of the boat to the other behind the captain's seat, i pretty much have to sit down and scoot sideways across the seats. But if you have people on your boat who appreciate a comfortable seat, it's worth the sacrifice of fishing room.

I actually have mine listed here in the classifieds, so check her out if you're willing to drive down south. Since my brother and I are looking to get into hardcore offshore fishing we're trying to get something with less creature comforts and more fish-ability. If you're more of a cruising and sandbar guy, the Ultra 211 will probably be perfect for you.

Love Robalo hulls. Kevlar enforced. Thing feels like a tank in the water. The diamond pattern all over the boat also gives it a more luxurious feel.

I own a sea hunt triton 210. Same hull as the ultra. It does very well for what I need it for. I havenít come up with any complaints over the 2 years Iíve owned it. Maybe just that itís not a 25 footer. Iím in the northeast as well. Itís been out in some rough stuff and it does well. Very dry. Trim tabs are a must though. I would avoid the wellcraft. Iíve read several build quality issues on here. I donít know anything about the Robalo. They look nice though.
