Default Can a new 38 Fountain handle 6-8' choppy seas on the nose (Video)

Here is a video from some of our Fountain friends running/fishing in rough water today. Its a new 2020 38 Fountain CC with triple 400M's. I've been on many boats in the rough and she looks to have done pretty well in my opinion.

You need to inform your friends there's only one correct music choice for a slow motion video of a boat driving around in rough seas: Russ Ballard's Voices:
.

Also another video in similar conditions on another 38, just from a different and closer angle:

Why the slow motion? Its harder to detect impacts when the footage is so slow

Boat can take more than occupants. I would venture a guess that most high end, well built CCs could do the same. For how long, who knows. Not sure why I would want to beat the snot out of my $500K+ investment even if I had $$ to throw away.

THT seas.

Agree with comments questioning why anyone would do that intentionally.

The answer to the Q appears to be No.

Killer boats, but probably a good reason they don't show more than 2 waves consecutively.

"should we hire a chopper to film us in heavy seas?"
"hell yeah. But isn't that expensive?"
"yeah, buy we will save money using my 2008 GoPro Hero. 270p baby."

No stress cracks, no chiropractor. The owner and his cousin each have a new 2020 38 with trip 400s and each out ran the other competing boats on the way to their fishing destination in those conditions with no damage to the boat, engines, or occupants.

I would ask to have this one taken down. It's likely to go viral.
