This is the stock configuration that I have now. I’m not concerned about keeping the same holes. Re-doing the fiberglass and non-skid is not a big deal.

A bracket for an Armstrong letter would fit on the rear of the transom.

Armstrong is easy and cost effective. Definitely recommend their Swing Ladder over the standard.

Where do you store that thing?

You can easily do the Armstrong, you can store it on the back side of the transom(if there’s no rod holders) or one of the side boxes towards the bow

I prefer the Swing ladders like these: Swing Ladders - Armstrong Nautical

You can let them drag behind the boat when going slow, vs the standard ladder which will bend or break off. When not deployed, they just swing up and rest upside down. Or if that is in the way of fishing, a quarter twist separates them from the bracket, and then easily store in one of the side floor compartments.

What is wrong with this ladder, have had the ladders that you store on transom and in my opinion are a pia.....you have to store them, get them put every time you use them and could be a potential safety issue if you ever fell overboard by yourself, you can at least get to the ladder from the water, always accessible and the steps don't allow your feet to slip off the end.

It would help to know what you are looking to accomplish that your current ladder does not do. What is your reason for wanting something different?

I concur with the swing ladder. But go for the 4 step over the three.
