Default any updates on strikelines

Hi im in the market for bottom imaging software can anyone share information or opinions. Looking to buy strikelines or C mor. I am leaning toward strikelines because of the cost. I am not concerned about the coverage, strikelines Florida East Beaches chart more than covers where i fish and dive. My question is how does the current version of strikelines resolution compare to C MOR? Am i giving up resolution or detail going with the cheaper option? I have a Simrad GO9 any experienced comments would be appreciated.

The florida east beaches stops pretty shallow, particularly off central florida. I wish they would cover that 80' to 250', but as of now they don't

It's a different type of surveying from what I understand. You can go to https://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/maps/bathymetry/ and then when you actually select the survey that you're looking at you can see the vessel and equipment used. A lot of the shallow stuff, at least here off Miami, says it's done by aircraft whereas once you get deeper than around 60 feet or so it needs to be done by a ship to get the hi-res imagery.

Hi Daisylo,

Our resolution should always be comparable if not better than CMOR's. We process raw sonar data in house and also do some of our own scanning. If you ever find we have lower resolution, please let us know because there's no reason we can't meet or beat CMOR's.

The Florida East Beaches chart has some super high resolution data but in some areas the best available data wasn't great. Email us (info@strikelines.com) some coordinates for the areas you like to fish and we'll send over screenshots!

Simrad evo 3 with StrikeLines was plug and play, couldn’t be easier. (Put in Micro Simcard, then softkey options to select charts). You will not go back when searching for structure.
