Smile Real World Priced CC Boats?

Can anyone recommend a 24' CC that's well built and designed for < $70ishk? Does that even exist? I've seen so many boats in the last few weeks it makes my head spin!

I figure there must a brand that I'm missing whether it's a small(er) builder or one that I simply haven't heard of. There are many that I've looked at that really just aren't comfortable (to me) or that are an odd design (e.g Bilge access through a small door).

Boat use will be for lakes, rivers, ICW and some offshore for the family and friends. I'm not a fisher; however, for resale I'm not opposed to a fishing boat with rockets etc. Why a CC? I think they just make sense from a usability standpoint whether there's one on board or many unlike my previous bow rider.

Wants:
  • Canvas T-Top Preferred
  • Power Steering
  • Digital Shift/Throttle
  • Aluminum Trailer
Brands I've looked at in no particular order:
  1. Rabco
  2. Wellcraft
  3. Glasstream
  4. Key West
  5. Sea Hunt
  6. Sea Born
  7. Sea Fox
  8. Finseeker
  9. Release
  10. Cape Horn
  11. Sportsman
  12. Sailfish
  13. Stingray
  14. Edgewater
  15. Roballo
  16. Cobia
  17. Blackfin
  18. Scout
  19. Century
  20. Reef Runner
  21. Blue Wave
  22. Grady White
  23. Boston Whaler
  24. Pursuit
  25. Sunsation (what I'd buy in a NY minute if cost was no object!)
Sea Born and Wellcraft are probably at the top of the list in terms of comfort, what you get for the money but there's got to be some that I'm missing.

I will get flamed but Im not spending that much and not getting a 3 piece boat. 95% of that list im not spending 40k on, let alone 70k.

I have been to a good dozen manufacturing tours with the dealership I used to work with and hands down Seaborn has the best facilities with the most in house resources. The cleanest shop I've ever seen, period! They literally cover the floors, in the rooms they do the heavy duty glass work, with kitty liter and have someone come through every hour or so with a pitchfork to clean up all the little bits and pieces that fall so that the bottom of the workers clothing doesn;t get caked up with little pieces of resin and glass. They do in house molds and design and have staff from #m, Viking and a handful other other major companies. They make three brands and the Seaborn brand is named after the owners father. It's a cool place. I think you get the best bang for the buck with them.

Scout, Edgewater and Sportsman will have a lot of options with lots of comfy seats and creature comforts as well. I would say in my experience the best resale from the brands you listed would be Edgewater even though that is my least favorite of the bunch. People love their 243!

I think you can get an Ocean Runner 24' for less than that, custom boat.

Tale a look at Pioneer, better than most on that list. Boat Max is the Dealer in Oviedo, next to UCF.

Their website looks like a copy of Bulls Bay. Price is $80k after I priced it.

Older Everglades 243 and repower. Looked a bunch of different new boats and ended up with a 2009 243. Just put a new 300 Zuke on and it.

Look at Four Sons Marine also. They have a 23 that is the old Donzi hull I believe. Again, zero personal experience with these, but heard they are a good group of guys.

Pioneer came before bulls bay. The same people (Carolina composites) that make pioneer, make bulls bay. They also make avenger bay boats. Bulls bay are the more affordable line.
