Default Anyone heard of this outboard seller

Am looking for a small 15hp outboard and came across this place. Dragonenginestore.com
Located in Phillipines.
Quoted $1400 for 15 Yamaha. Asked about shipping and e mailed a quote of $200 to my zipcode.
They ask to be paid by wire transfer.

Thoughts?

I can save you a hundred dollars over that deal!

Go to the ATM and pull out $1500, make a pile of your cash in the parking lot and then light it on fire.

Scam....don't ever wire money. My general rule is that if someone is offering a new item at more than a 10% discount than the average price you can find it for anywhere else, it's a scam. For the shipping, that's easy, just go to UPS.com or FedEx.com and put in a country and the approx. size and weight of what the item should be and see what your shipping would be. Guarantee you're not getting anything over 75 lbs and larger than a 2'x2' box to/from overseas for less than $200.

Do a search for people reporting positive experiences regarding their Indonesian engine purchase by wire transfer. There's a thread asking about it once a month or so.

Don't listen to these naysayers, it sounds like a great deal, do it! I mean what could go wrong?

Ok I am convinced. Does anybody know a guy that owns say a 42' CC with quads that could maybe run me to the Phillipines say in a year or so.
I promise to split gas costs but only one way.

Check out Alibaba, considered safe and the most robust marketplace in the world to find legit deals on all kinds of machinery and equipment. I have an account there and have purchased a drive gear for an excavator. Cheap and is working fine.
