I can't see clearly from the picture, but it appears they forgot to close off the ends of the DIY tubes.

The front is open but the rear has 30gal. poly drums stuffed in the ends.

Smart. You can buy old Navy zodiac hulls on gsa for a few hundred bucks. The tubes are where the money is at.
