Default 27 contender and evinrude 200 Gs

Is anyone running a 27 contender with etec G2 200s with performance numbers. Or any other newer 200s

You are not permitted to ask about the blasphemy of putting pitiful etecs on a boat of such caliber as a Contender. You will be banished to hell for asking.

With twin 200 HPDIs that boat would run in the low 50s and get about 2 mpg at 35.

Pretty sure the yam f200 runs around 45-47 wide open. Don’t quote me never been on one. We’ve had the original f225 a set of f250 and now the new 4.2 250s.

LOL. My Etec’s are fantastic. Put over 500 hrs on them the first year and haven’t had a problem with them. Plus I’m getting 2.1-2.2 mpg on a 26 regulator

There’s a guy on here with the exact set up you’re talking about. Can’t remember his screen name... Hopefully he’ll see this thread and chime in.

This boat should give a good reference point for the 27..
