Default Rod holder help

The gimble pin is broken in 2 of my rod holders so I was looking to replace the rod holder - I have no idea if you can actually replace the pin instead of replacing the whole rod holder?
If I need to replace the whole rod holder I was hoping someone could suggest a replacement for me. I have a 2000 Hydrasports and would like to find comparable rod holders ideally with the same screw holes but also hoping someone has found rod holders that won't fall apart easily. I look at these reviews a lot of them talk about how the sleeve falls apart from the top/flat part which would be a problem too! Here's a picture of my current rod holder

Thanks in advance!

You can replace the pin. I've done it several times using a ss machine screw.

I wondered if you could do that. I'll take it apart this weekend and see how what size I need.
Thanks for pointing that out!

I was going to suggest the same thing as Casper. You could also use a solid piece of stainless rod and have it tack welded on each side. I have modified all my rod holders by drilling new holes and rotating the pins, so that the rid sits level when trolling. I used the solid rod and tack method.
