Default Does the ultimate all around boat exist?

Looking for a bow rider with a cabin with 2 beds, open deck, seaworthy in storms, outboards, fuel efficient (ideally under 20gph @ around 30mph), possibly space for jet ski, can pull a tube or wakeboard, and doesnít cost a fortune (under 250k used).

Seems everything thatís out requires some settling, so far in consideration:

Formula 350 CBR or 330 - Only 1 bed w smaller, cabin, OB ones are only available new and not that fuel efficient which might drive me towards inboard with Volvo.

Sundancer 320- My sense is itís not as well of a built boat for heavy seas and the bow isnít that great. Also fuel economy is similar with Formula and same issue of OBís.

Perhaps looking for inboard diesel is the answer and mount a jet ski on platform?

What do you consider the ultimate boat for weekend runabout island and cove hopping to long 100-500+ mile trips and an extended boating season?

Two purposes and one boat

Need to cruise, sand bar, overnight and seaworthy, then Formula is your boat.

No good on MPG, and if you want 2 bed, needs to get bigger than 34 and less MPG...so on...

Good luck

How can it be the ultimate all around boat when you don't even mention rod holders? Sheesh!

Haha yes I realized that one after but figured then Iíd really be asking too much!!

Seems the industry is getting there with the all around boat, guess itís a good excuse for me to get some more mileage out of my current boat and wait longer, or at least till some of these newer ones hit the used market.

Still torn between OB (especially on a used boat for ease of maintenance and of course shallow waters) and inboard diesels. I assume thereís no OB diesels right?

Axopar 37, but you won't be putting a waverunner on it.

Chris Craft Launch 36 or 38 would also work (inboards or outboards), but it's over the budget.
