Prune, lock, delete if required ... I'm a free speech sorta guy but sometimes just because you can say something - doesn't mean you should.

If they do not prune and lock this thread the kids will see that other people have different views of how things transpired, good bad or indifferent. I am sure they will also find plenty of feel good forum posts. Hopefully they have been and will continue to be taught about life and how to deal with the good and bad.

I've probably read about two thirds of this thread and cant believe what its turned into. Life raft options, Robalo foam quality debate, heads bobbing in the water..are you guys serious?? This is the internet this is on here forever. How do we know there isnt family members reading this? Or these guys kids in the future? You think they want to see a picture of a Robalo sideways on a dock? Do some of you guys not realize that, or are you just plain stupid?

I personally went thru this exact situation when I was 18 and the outcome was the worst one possible. Seeing some things that are said here is the absolute worst thing for them to see.

Hopefully these guys somehow made it to the Bahamas and are having a little bit of fun before they decide to head back home.

I would like to take this opportunity to specifically thank this forum and the many members who participated in the search, donated, prayed, or helped in any other way. One of the main reasons JFRD had so many private boats and aircraft to direct to search grids was undoubtedly due to this forum and its membership. I can't tell you how many PMs, calls, texts I received from THT from people willing to help. Thank you on behalf of my family.

We still have many questions, What exactly happened? Where specifically is the boat? Who keeps the boys in-line when they come calling for my niece in a few years? Who teaches my nephew how to treat a woman and what it means to be a man? WHY Brian and Justin??? And many more. Some we may never know and some we will figure out as we go.

A donation site has been set up for Brian's family through JFRD; Justin's is there also. I will keep the forum updated on services as I know more.

Our local news had shown an abbreviated clip from the news conference,
this is a link to what looks like the full five minute news conference:

My heart grieves for this community and the World's loss from this tragic event.

Had to be the most intensive sea search in the 82 years since Amelia Earhart went missing.
