I own a pair of 2000 HPDIs. I've only owned them the last 4. They have ~800 hours on them and are running strong.

Have one 200 2007 has 1400 hrs. I’m the third owner and this is its 2nd boat. Came off of a tuna boat in Venice la

Twin 03 200’s. Lost one around 1250 hours, the second a year later with 1300+ hours. Best thing that ever happened to my boat.

I have a 2002 200hp, not sure how many previous owners but I've had it for about 5 years. About 1900 hrs (haven't check lately ) and running strong.

twin 2003 200s. Almost 2000 hours on them. Need a new cylinder head on one - that’s the first major repair. Have replaced lp fuel pumps, external oil tank filters and pumps, gauges and control cables but nothing major. They are serviced every year with new water pumps, spark plugs and filters. Run on ethanol free gas for the last 6-7 years but used ethanol gas before that with no problems. I will be repowering soon but the motors have plenty of life left.

Twin 2006 200's.

Supposedly the powerheads were replaced by the previous owner with rebuilt powerheads. The engines have 2500 hours on them, the powerheads have about 500.

I'm not entirely sure tho, the starboard PH has a "Flagship Marine" sticker on it, so that's the factory reman but the port was just "rebuilt" not replaced.

They run strong with the usual HPDI quirks.

If they still made them and they were priced lower than a 4S I prob buy them again..

Previous boat had a 2001 200 HPDI, Ran great for 850 hours when sold. Current boat has a late 2004 motor with 850 hours and runs like new. They do require some extra maintenance though. I'll be first to admit that.

I notice a lack of any 250/300 HPDI's ...the 200's and below were thought to be bullet proof...bigger ones ...no so much...just sayin'

2005 200s. 2100hrs. 2nd owner. I bought the boat with 90 hrs. Service every 100 hrs. I have replaced one Stator.
