Default Looking for experienced Offshore Fisherman

Hello All,

Ok so I have a 24 foot Boston Whaler 240 Outrage. I am thinking about heading offshore this weekend (Norfolk Canyon) for Tuna or big fish? I was wondering if there were any boats that wanted some company. I think it is safer to fish with another boat close by. We could meet up near Norfolk and head out together. OPTION 2 is if anyone is a seasoned fisherman that knows the local waters, you can get a free boat ride on my boat if you can show me and my dad some rigging/bait/set ups for various Off shore fish. We can pay a little as well for your time.

Thanks!

Ibrahim

Me and a couple of buddies would love to go. How far offshore because technically we are not allowed to leave the State. Also will it be just you and your Dad or will anyone else know where you are?

Ok sounds great. We would prefer 1 to 2 guys at the most. Not looking to fill up the boat. We just need someone who knows how to use Outriggers properly, knows how to rig Balleyhoo etc.

Are your ankle bracelets water proof and corrosion resistant? Do they go off once you guys get outside the 3 mile limit? This is typically the limit of state waters.

There are some regional forums that might be good to post on if you look.
