Default The Launching Of ROSIE

Hi Guys- Some of you have followed the building of my Outer Banks 26, the first and only. She is designed by Graham Byrnes of BandBYacht designs. I got her launched yesterday and so far she has far exceeded expectations. Now, a break from the build before I get back to finishing a thousand details. Video below.

Beautiful boat. And please put a ladder on that trailer. Was hoping the whole time I wasn’t about to see you get castrated or break your ribs on the winch post.

Hey Ken, CONGRATS and a long and healthy cruise for you and your family, and that BEAUTIFUL hull !! Did you have B & B design and stretch a 24 to a 26 ? No mention on their website of a Outerbanks 26....just curious. I cannot fathom the amount of time and dedication it took to fabricate such a beautiful vessel, and the efficiency of such a hull to get pushed by a mere 90 HP. People like you who can stitch together boats like this, and so beautifully, are truly a rare breed. Please keep posting pictures of your progress, and the places where you drop anchor. Smash a bottle of Vieve Cliquoe over that bow !!!
