Default Ever paint Seadek?

Has anyone ever painted a logo on Seadek? I have some plain storm gray sheet material and was thinking about cutting out a stencil and spray painting a logo on it. What kind of paint would you use to maximize life expectancy?

Nobody? I just spray painted a small scrap piece to see about runs. Looks good so far. After 24 hours, Iíll soak it and scrub it to see what happens.

Since itís like a sponge type material. I would spray it thick. But I donít think anyone wants to spray Sea Deck, too expensive to experiment with.

I bought some gray sheet material to put under my gunnels to buffer my reels from the gelcoat. Too cheap to have a logo carved in at twice the price. So i’ll either leave it plain or paint a basic logo on it.

Don't you think that once the paint dries hard it'll crumble like a potato chip???

dunno. Thatís why Iím asking. They painted the seadek gray and itís soft.

BTW, Iím not walking on this application. Itís for gunnel walls.

Why not contact the manufacturer and ask them. They may use or reccomend a special type of paint
