We had a 52 G&S with 10 cylinder Manns and it was a screamer!! It would hit upper 30's wide open, my captain was out one day alone and the local dolphin boat, "Sea Blaster" was out showing off for his passengers. He always told them they were on the fastest boat in Destin, my guy did a complete circle around them and kept going!

My buddy runs it.
they had some current behind them to hit 50 knots and no enclosure up. Still a rocket ship for 78ft!! Not sure it’s a true 50 knot boat, that’s a hard number to hit!!!

Chunk a giant islander out back. If something catches it, your in for a hella a fight.

That's awesome, though.

Who is the guy wearing nikes on the mezz? Looks like the socks and bare feet would be a given.

Beautiful boat. I'm guessing it still has a couple tons of items to go into the cabin, but still a hell of a magic carpet ride pushing 50 kts.

50 knots ground speed going north in the gulf stream = 47 knots in reality. Maybe more, maybe less.

Badass machine right there. We had the Ringleader pass us a few years ago in the CV and the CV was pegged.... not sure if it is a 50 knot boat, but its the only big sporty i've seen run like that thing. Pretty cool.

Could be. His old Rybo was named Persistence. That one was a beautiful boat as well.
