Does that mean you are looking for the cheapest?
Florida is a big state.

Central Marine is probably the biggest and they have a good (excellent as far as I'm concerned) reputation.
However, there are equally as good dealerships around the state, just not as big.

Not the cheapest. I would think the biggest repower dealer is likely the best based on being the biggest. The best draws customers.

Where is Central Marine located. Seems as though there may be a few businesses with the same or similar names.

Matter of opinion, but then I am biased.

Best is not always the biggest and vice versa.

Many smaller dealerships offer a more personalized service and also can go the "extra mile" for you on a warranty issue or getting you taken care of just before a holiday weekend.

Call around for approximate pricing as that varies with the dealer depending on their overhead, buying incentives, and dealer policies. If you can, support your local dealers. Those are the ones you want to still be in business if an emergency occurs.

If you were in Miami, I would go to Erics...if you were on west coast then go to Central....further north on the East Coast, Parker

I believe we are approaching the end of the current promotion for Yamaha....but never know if the next one will be better

Thank you for the refer!
The current Yamaha Promotion runs till June 30, 2019.
Bear in mind, it's hard to run till the end, because the system jams.
Also, check to see that pricing Includes the Promotion, the dealer has to participate.

Only this guy would be so honest as to give an answer other than his own. Central does seem to get a good bit of business and do it competitively on the West Coast, if the drive is the same for you, I'd recommend Parker/Ole for top notch care.

Timely post, thank you for this. I have been looking for a good shop that will pick up my boat (I have no trailer) to raise the motor a couple of holes. Just called Central Marine and spoke to Jim, who seems like a real good dude; he got me on the schedule to pick my boat up this month.

Make sure to mention my name so Gieger and Karl send me my kickback.

In Ft Myers Naples it is probably Marina Mike but Mike sold it and I am not hearing a lot of good things about the new owner.
(Maybe because nobody ever likes a new owner)
If you are buying a box motor and driving away, I am not sure that really makes that much difference tho.
