Default Recommend a good hose clamp brand/set

Looking for a good set of hose clamps to keep on boat/shop, multiple sizes. I would like to find a similar set to this set at HF, but much better quality that won't strip out and will hold up. Just used the HF set as an example. I would prefer something with USA made SS clamps.

The best of the best are ABA clamps. They have a solid band not sliced through for the threads and are all 316SS: screw, housing, band, the whole kit. I trust nothing else for ANY below the waterline hose that is connected to the ocean. Definitely not cheap, but worth it. https://amzn.to/2X6pbGQ

Scandvik solid band clamps are a very close second.

There are no third place winners in this contest!

Hello, I could not possibly recommend any of the perforated band types of clamps, irrespective of where they are made or what the say they are made from, just too many failures. I would highly recommend Norma as a source for continuous band stainless (316) hose clamps. Awab have an excellent reputation but are not as easily available in my area. Hope this helps.

We’re switching to AWEB this weekend for all of our engine clamps that deal with raw water and any that handle a through hull fitting below the waterline. We had one inferior clamp blow off a heat exchanger on our Detroit recently and put a lot of water in the bilge. Never again!
