I'm not against jump boxes. Have them in every vehicle I own but they are no replacement for a second battery and AB Switch.

You may want to look at the replacement battery that corresponds to the jump box you're considering. You're gonna have to do a bit of google search, but it will be an education and you will make a more informed purchase. Beyond the recommendations of others experience, it will let you know how big of a battery they use. Get the largest capacity battery. Size matters with batteries. They are all sealed type.
Personally, I take an extra battery, group 31, with me when "outing". Whether in the woods, Glades, ocean or on a rescue mission to help another, and a good set of jumper cables.
Sorry I can't suggest a particular one.

I've had one of these for a couple years. Works great. HF is hit or miss, this is a decent product. Not worth the $20 protection plan on a $69 item imo.

I got one from Costco, it was junk. I should have returned it. Have an old zero Gravity XP-1. It must be 6 years old. Just jumped my 24 HP ZTR mower with it last weekend, haven't charged it in months.

I have a second battery and a switch.Just thought it would be nice to have a jump box in an emergency. I carry jumper cables but they would be a pain in a real situation.

I have 2 jump boxes both Snap On....one is 10 years old the other 6 .
zero issues....drove my mom's Lexus from her house to the shop 14 miles on a dead alternator and weak battery...still had 34 % remaining when I got the shop.
If you have a dealer near you that would be my route.....when it comes to tools it is the best only....you get what you pay for.
Duralast from AutoZone....not to bad either if the store honors the warranty.

Is that designed for jumps starting a car or boat?I watched the video and at the end it appeared that the man indicated people that were using it as a jump start were wrong?
